Claying Around is a full service Paint your own Pottery studio located in beautiful Asheville NC. Our studio is bright and spacious with lots of good energy, and most importantly – adult and kid friendly. We offer a HUGE selection of fun and unique pottery pieces, ranging in price from $10 to $150. We have over 60 different colors of underglaze, 50 fun specialty glazes, various stamps, stencils, silk screens, sample pottery and books to get you in the mood. Not sure if you can do it? Not to worry –  we will show you how!  Come on in and create with love!  you can reserve a pottery wheel lesson on one of our pottery wheels, paint some pottery, handbuild with clay, make cool glass fused pieces, or create a beautiful canvas painting.  We offer so much in one convenient location that the possibilities are endless!  There is even a Starbucks in our spacious parking lot!

Just sit back, relax and create;  Claying Around will take care of the rest. Once you have painted your pottery, we clean up for you, glaze your pottery, fire it until it shines, and then wrap your finished pieces for you. (Pottery takes 5-7 days to get back.) All of our glazes and underglazes are LEAD FREE, non toxic, microwave and dishwasher safe. (Although we do recommend hand washing to extend the life of your precious keepsakes.)
