FIELD TRIPS

Service Description

Field trips are perfect for a scout troop, a home school group, or any other large group trip! Groups can work with wet clay, painting pottery or, painting a canvas! Scouts will receive a special claying around pottery pin, our version of a badge. Clay: Scouts/artists will experience the magic of turning mud into a masterpiece through the introduction of slab, coil, or pinching techniques. Scouts/artists will create 2 projects, have a tour of the kiln room, and learn the process of glazing and firing. Pottery painting : Choose from our specially licensed Girl Scout pottery pieces, special projects, or just paint for fun! Canvas: Scouts/artists will learn the basics of painting with acrylics, how paint can be mixed using primary, and secondary colors.   Canvas designs will be decided before arrival. Minimum of 8 required Please choose a time and we will get back to you, as soon as we can to discuss your "party" needs.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for classes: Failure to show or cancellations will result in the loss of your non refundable deposit To cancel or reschedule please call or email. If for any reason Claying Around needs to cancel, full refunds will be given.
